We summarize recent evidence on “lifestyle medicine” (lifestyle interventions that prevent and treat many diseases), distilling research findings down to practical tips people can turn into habits. These habits are proven to result in less preventable disease, and even to reverse disease. The book in our logo symbolizes the research, including clinical experience, we dive into. The pages in the book get smaller as we summarize the evidence into absorbable segments for healthcare clinicians and the general public to understand. The dot on top of the book is like a seed of knowledge, planted in what we hope is good soil, with hopes that it grows into a healthy, full life for people, families, and communities everywhere.
We didn’t expect to launch a podcast…it was actually a patient who said she’d be more likely to eat good food and move every day if she heard us talking about it in her car as she traveled.
